The reading
in Envision in Depth chapter 12 was all about how people use their bodies and
dress to express themselves. Whether it's through tattoos and jewelry or an
"I love Jesus and Jesus loves me" t-shirt people are able to learn a
lot about people by how they express themselves through clothes. The chapter
also talked about the media and how they portray beauty. It turns out Barbie is
completely unrealistic, but still all young girls use her as an idol. The
ethics of media and how they portray style and looks through rhetorical appeal
is wrong.
